For the Pylons SAS project, our team was tasked with creating an accurate 3D model of an existing pylon. We began by extracting detailed data from the point cloud file to ensure precision and alignment with the physical structure. This allowed us to accurately represent the pylon in 3D, capturing all key features and dimensions including rod sizes, steel type and thicknesses and any defects in the existing condition of the pylon. The model served as a foundation for further analysis and planning, ensuring the project met all requirements and adhered to industry standards for structural integrity and design.
